Anduril Industries builds autonomous defense systems and the software that connects them. The company was incorporated in April 2017 and is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, with additional offices in Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington D.C., London, and Sydney. It was founded by Palmer Luckey, Trae Stephens, Matt Grimm, Joe Chen, and Brian Schimpf, who serves as CEO.
Its core product is Lattice, a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to fuse sensor data for command and control. Hardware platforms include Ghost, an unmanned aerial vehicle with a quiet acoustic signature and modular payload bays; Sentry Tower, a solar powered surveillance system with radar and thermal imaging; Altius, tube launched unmanned aerial vehicles deployable from aircraft and ground platforms; Barracuda, a family of cruise missiles; and Anvil, quadcopter drones designed to intercept other unmanned aircraft.
A good deal of the engineering surface is public. The company publishes Lattice SDKs for Python, Java, C++, Go, and JavaScript, alongside sample applications built on the Tasks and Entities APIs.
