These Terms of Service govern your use of remoet.dev, our website located at https://www.remoet.dev, and any related services provided by remoet.dev. When you create a remoet.dev account or use remoet.dev, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you are prohibited from accessing our website or using any services provided by remoet.dev. We, remoet.dev, reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page and notify you through the website and/or the email address you provided when you created your account. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication. These Terms of Service were last updated on 18 March 2026.
Service Description
remoet.dev is a remote job platform that connects remote workers with job opportunities. Our services include but are not limited to: job listing aggregation, profile creation, job search functionality, and communication tools between job seekers and employers. We do not guarantee job placement or employment outcomes. All job listings are provided by third parties and we cannot verify the accuracy of all posted positions.
User Accounts and Responsibilities
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and current information in your profile
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring job postings (if applicable) are accurate and lawful
Account Termination and Data
You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Limitations of Use
By using remoet.dev and our website, you warrant on behalf of yourself, any entity who you represent who has entered into these Terms of Service, and your users that you will not: modify, copy, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer our website or any materials and software contained within remoet.dev or on our website; remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from our website or any materials contained within remoet.dev or on our website; knowingly or negligently use remoet.dev or any of its associated services in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks or any other service remoet.dev provides; use remoet.dev or its associated services to transmit or publish any harassing, indecent, obscene, fraudulent, or unlawful material; use remoet.dev or its associated services in violation of any applicable laws or regulations; use remoet.dev to send unauthorized advertising or spam; harvest, collect, or gather user data without the user's consent; post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings; or use remoet.dev or its associated services in such a way that may infringe the privacy, intellectual property rights, or other rights of third parties.
Intellectual Property
The intellectual property in the materials in remoet.dev and on our website are owned by or licensed to remoet.dev. You may access and use remoet.dev website for your personal and professional use only. This constitutes the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions or these Terms of Service, and may be terminated by remoet.dev at any time.
User-Generated Content
You retain your intellectual property ownership rights over content you submit to us for publication within remoet.dev and/or on its corresponding website. We will never claim ownership of your content, but we do require a license from you in order to use it. When you use remoet.dev or its associated services to post, upload, share, or otherwise transmit content covered by intellectual property rights, you grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly display, translate, or otherwise create derivative works of your content in a manner that is consistent with your privacy preferences and our Privacy Policy. The license you grant us can be terminated at any time by deleting your content or account. However, to the extent that we (or our partners) have used your content in connection with commercial or sponsored content, the license will continue until the relevant commercial or post has been discontinued by us. You give us permission to use your username and other identifying information associated with your account in a manner that is consistent with your privacy preferences, and our Privacy Policy.
Paid Subscriptions and Billing
remoet.dev offers three subscription tiers: Free ($0/month), Pro ($15/month), and Max ($29/month). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. All payment processing is handled by Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as our Merchant of Record. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service and buyer terms.
- Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless you cancel before the end of your current billing period
- We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice before the new price takes effect
- You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate
- If a payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable timeframe, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier
Free Tier and Service Limits
The Free tier provides access to core platform features with the following limits:
- Up to 10 stars
- 30 MCP requests per day
- 300 API requests per day
- 1 link tree
- Job data is delayed by 1 week
Paid tiers (Pro and Max) unlock higher limits and additional features. We reserve the right to modify the features and limits of any tier with reasonable notice to affected users.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will continue to have access to paid features until that date. No partial or mid-cycle refunds are provided upon cancellation. For further details, please refer to our separate Refund Policy. After cancellation, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier.
Merchant of Record
Paddle (paddle.com) acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions on remoet.dev. This means Paddle is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, sales tax collection, and tax compliance on our behalf. All purchases are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. If you have questions about a charge, invoice, or tax, please contact Paddle directly or reach out to us at hello@remoet.dev and we will assist you.
Service Updates
We may update our website and services from time to time to improve functionality, security, and user experience. These updates will be applied automatically when you access our website.
Third-Party Content and Job Listings
Our platform may contain job listings, company information, and other content provided by third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party content. You acknowledge that:
- Job listings are provided by third-party employers and may not be accurate or current
- We cannot verify the legitimacy of all employers or job opportunities
- Any dealings between you and third-party employers are solely between you and them
- You should exercise caution and perform your own due diligence before engaging with potential employers
Company Listings and Public Data
remoet.dev compiles company listings, including company names, logos, tech stacks, job openings, and related information, from publicly available sources. The inclusion of any company on remoet.dev does not imply any endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or business relationship between remoet.dev and that company. All trademarks, logos, and company names displayed on remoet.dev are the property of their respective owners.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of company information but cannot guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. Company information is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for career or business decisions.
If you are a representative of a company listed on remoet.dev and you believe any information is inaccurate, or you wish to request corrections or removal of your company listing, please contact us at hello@remoet.dev. We will review and respond to all legitimate requests within 10 business days.
AI Agents and Automated Actions
remoet.dev provides integrations that allow third-party AI agents and automated tools to interact with your account on your behalf via our API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) interface. By connecting an AI agent to your remoet.dev account, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for all actions taken by AI agents connected to your account, including but not limited to job applications, messages sent, profile changes, and starring or unstarring companies
- remoet.dev does not control, monitor, or verify the decisions or outputs of third-party AI agents
- AI agents may take actions that are incorrect, unintended, or irreversible (such as submitting a job application or sending a message to an employer)
- remoet.dev is not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from actions taken by AI agents on your behalf
- You should review and verify any actions taken by AI agents, particularly before submitting applications or communicating with employers
We provide tool descriptions and guidance to help AI agents use the platform correctly, but we cannot guarantee that any AI agent will interpret or follow this guidance as intended. Use of AI agent integrations is entirely at your own risk.
Notice and Takedown
If you believe that any content on remoet.dev infringes your intellectual property rights, contains inaccurate information about you or your organization, or otherwise violates your rights, you may submit a takedown request to hello@remoet.dev. Your request should include:
- Your name and contact information
- Identification of the content you believe is infringing or inaccurate
- A description of the right being violated or the inaccuracy
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content is not authorized
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 5 business days and will take appropriate action, which may include removing or correcting the content, within 10 business days. We reserve the right to request additional information or verification before acting on any takedown request.
Limitation of Liability
- Our services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for purpose
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed €100 or the total subscription fees you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater
- We are not responsible for job placement, employment outcomes, or any losses from job applications
- We are not liable for actions or omissions of third-party employers or users
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless remoet.dev and its owner, operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use our services
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Actions taken by AI agents or automated tools connected to your account
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the platform
- Your interaction with third-party employers or other users
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and these Terms of Service.
Accuracy of Materials
The materials appearing in remoet.dev or on our website are not comprehensive and are for general information purposes only. To the extent permitted by law, remoet.dev does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials in remoet.dev or on our website, or otherwise relating to such materials or on any resources linked to remoet.dev and our website.
Links
remoet.dev has not reviewed all of the sites linked to remoet.dev or on its corresponding website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, approval, or control by remoet.dev of the site. Use of any such linked website is at your own risk and we strongly advise you make your own investigations with respect to the suitability of those sites.
Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your remoet.dev account and right to use remoet.dev and these Terms of Service immediately upon written notice to you for any breach of these Terms of Service.
Severance
Any term of these Terms of Service which is wholly or partially void or unenforceable is severed to the extent that it is void or unenforceable. The validity of the remainder of these Terms of Service is not affected.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and remoet.dev, we encourage you to first contact us at hello@remoet.dev so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. We commit to responding to all dispute-related communications within 10 business days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal proceedings. For consumers in the EU/EEA, nothing in this section limits your right to bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence or to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sweden. For consumers in the EU/EEA, this choice of jurisdiction does not override any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the member state where you are domiciled.
